That way, they can point out to a kid, you think you're gay? that's the way you will turn out. only recently, a main character in a teen series came out and a possible love interest who was the schools top athlete, appeared. the Evangelicals, when nuts, because they couldn't stand, that 2 boys, who were not "identifiable" as gay, were going to mainstream in high school. The Evangelicals tossed a fit and the show was totally re written then canceled.
I only saw the short clip. But, it was so cute. It sure has changed since I was a teen in the 60's. Every teen and young person out there; fight for your right to love who you want. Much has changed since Stonewall in '69. And much more needs to change. We will all help each other through it!

Yes it is Danish and "Kapgang" (Speed walk) is a quite funny movie based on the biography book from Morten Kirkskov. It is actually not directly a gaymovie, but more a coming of age movie, with all the difficulties by beeing a teenager. The book and movie are often used in the danish highschools.

Technically there's not a sad ending. But the boys doesn't end up together. It's more a movie about coming of age and exploring. The movie isn't entirely forced on these to boys
